Healthy and thriving communities begin with healthy and thriving families.  At the Richard & Clara Harrison Foundation, we work with and within our community to empower families to reach their fullest potential.  Our efforts are focused on helping families achieve better educational, health and financial outcomes.

In the 2022-2023 school year, The Harrison Foundation launched its annual scholarship program.  Since that inaugural year, we have awarded the $500 prize to four Huntsville High School graduating seniors and two graduating seniors from North Forest High School in Houston.  For the 2025-2026 school year, we are excited to continue our scholarship program and host our second scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, February 28th at The Samuel Walker Houston Cultural Center.   In addition to traditional bingo, there will be a Black History trivia between rounds.  Attendees will also be treated to tasty bites.  The entrance fee for the event is a $10 donation (free for children 12 and under) and bingo cards are $2 each. Three free bingo cards are included at admission.

The Foundation is excited to connect with our community to support deserving students in their pursuit of higher education.   Learn more about our foundation and initiatives at www.theharrisonfoundation.org/connect.  See past scholarship award winners here - www.theharrisonfoundation.org/scholarships/prior.
