Classroom Lecture

2023-2024 Classroom Adoption

American teachers spend $800 out of pocket on average to stock their classrooms each year.  Teachers purchase books, cleaning products, school supplies, and snacks to provide their students with the best environment for learning.  Thanks to their sacrifice children facing hardships have the support and resources they need to focus on their schoolwork.

The Harrison Foundation's classroom adoption program includes a $200 direct donation of funds or supplies plus a fundraising campaign for the classroom.  We will adopt two middle school teachers for the entire 2023-2024 school year. To be eligible, teachers must teach at a middle school (grades sixth through eighth) in Northeast Houston (former North Forest ISD area) or Huntsville ISD (TX).  The application is open through November 17th. Recipients will be announced the week of November 27th.
