2025 Classroom Adoptee

The 2025 Harrison Foundation Classroom Adoptee is the Mance Park 8th Grade Family & Consumer Sciences Class.   This class is instructed by a second year teacher that is also pursuing an MEd in School Counseling.  Her passion for education and compassion for students are what inspire her approach to stocking and decorating the classroom.  She makes every effort to create a safe space and a home away from home for her students.  The classroom cart filled with not only school supplies, but also hygiene items, is open for every student in the school if they are not part of the class.

Community Support

The Harrison Foundation has contributed $200 to help prepare the 8th Grade Family & Consumer Sciences class prepare for the school year; but we can do so much more with the community's help.  We are hosting a Back to School Bingo Fundraiser Saturday, August 9th from 11AM to 2PM at the Samuel Walker Houston Cultural Center & Museum.  Admission is $10 and includes three free bingo cards.  Additional bingo cards are $2 each or free with the donation of an item from the supply list.  Get tickets and/or donate at givebutter.com/B2SBingo25.

All donated items collected will go toward the supply and hygiene cart.  Funds raised will go toward purchasing more school supplies and hygiene items for Mance Park Students and our 2026 scholarship award for a graduating Huntsville High School Senior (up to $200 of fundraising proceeds) .

If you would like to contribute directly to 8th Grade Family & Consumer Sciences class, you can purchase from the Amazon Wish List.
