2025-2026 Classroom Adoption
American teachers spend $800 out of pocket on average to stock their classrooms each year. Teachers purchase books, cleaning products, school supplies, and snacks to provide their students with the best environment for learning. Thanks to their sacrifice children facing hardships have the support and resources they need to focus on their schoolwork.
The Harrison Foundation's classroom adoption program includes a donation of funds or supplies plus a fundraising campaign for the classroom. We will adopt one middle school teacher for the entire 2025-2026 school year. To be eligible, teachers must teach at a middle school (grades sixth through eighth) in Northeast Houston (former North Forest ISD area) or Huntsville ISD (TX). The application is open Monday, April 7, 2025 through Friday, May 16, 2025. Recipients will be announced the week of June 2nd.
